Tickets for the Truman and William Chrisman boys and girls basketball games Feb. 10 at Truman High School will be pre-sold.
The tickets for the battle for the Three Trails Trophy will go on sale Monday, Feb. 1 at the activities offices at Truman and Chrisman. Tickets may be purchased from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday until they are sold out. Tickets will not be sold to students during class hours.
Those attending the game will need to procure a ticket in advance. Usual passes may be used to obtain tickets at no charge. Truman “Pack the House” T-shirts will be considered a ticket. There is no reserved seating.
Individuals are limited to a maximum of four tickets, including employees providing their staff identification. Those without passes can purchase tickets for $4 each for adults (seventh grade and older) or $2 for children in sixth grade or lower. Senior citizens age 62 and older and pre-kindergarten children have free admission.
Truman activities director Eric Holm said that because of the limited space, everyone must have a ticket and no tickets will be sold at the door. The ticket will be a wristband and must be worn to enter the game. Lost wristbands will not be replaced, a new one must be purchased. There will be no exit and re-entry allowed the night of the game.
“These policies are put in place to be as fair as possible, allow for an orderly purchase of tickets and provide a more comfortable game night given the heightened interest in these games,” Holm said.
The boys junior varsity game tips off at 3:30 p.m., with the girls junior varsity following at approximately 5 p.m. The girls varsity is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. with the boys varsity game following at approximately 8 p.m.
