Marshall – Burnham
Starla Dawn Marshall became the bride of Robert C. “Burnie” Burnham in an evening ceremony Oct. 24, 2008, at Parkview Community of Christ. Elder David Argotsinger, brother-in-law of the bride, officiated at the double-ring ceremony. The blessing on marriage was given by the Rev. Diana Freeman, sister of the groom.
The bride, the daughter of Beulah Marshall of Grain Valley, wore an ivory and champagne, satin, A-line halter gown, with split front. The gown laced up the back and featured a chapel-length train.
The parents of the bridegroom are A.C. “Burnie” and Ruby Burnham of Joplin.
Kathy Argotsinger, sister of the bride, assisted as matron of honor, with Amber Robbins and Darcie Johnson as bridesmaids. Lexie Nollner was flower girl, with Gabriel Argotsinger and Orrin Johnson as ring bearers.
Larry Haflich served as best man, with Bill Johnson and Josh Scott as groomsmen. The ushers were Jared Malcolm, Sam Argotsinger and Elliot Marshall.
The dinner reception was held at the church.
The bride is a nurse at Cockerell & McIntosh Pediatrics.
The bridegroom is a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service.
After a honeymoon in Eureka Springs, Ark., Mr. and Mrs. Burnham are at home in Blue Springs.
