Ashley Frerking is one of the Truman High School's class of 2008 top 1 percent.

Scholastic honors: Member of the National Honor Society and the National German Honor Society; recipient of the McCoy Medal; Bright Flight Scholar; two-time academic letter winner and named to Who’s Who Among High School Students – Sports Edition.
High school and community activities: Member of Patriots Assisting Truman Students; participated on the varsity soccer and varsity basketball teams; member of the JV cross country team and member of the AAU Blazers Basketball team.

1 To what do you attribute your academic success?
As a gift from God.

2 Who was the biggest influence on your studies?
My family. My mom, who is responsible for my study habits, and my dad whose standards I try to live up to.

3 What college do you plan to attend and why?
Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Mo. to study architectural engineering.

4 What do you see yourself doing in 10 years from now?
Hopefully as a successful architectural engineer who has designed a building or two of importance. Maybe with a husband.

5 What will you remember most about your high school years?
My friends and all the awesome, stupid and awesomely stupid things we’ve done.
