The Land Use Committee of the Jackson County Legislature is holding a hearing Friday on zoning changes and other issues.
It’s at 1 p.m. at Fleming Hall, 21906 Woods Chapel Road, west of Lake Jacomo.
Among the items on the agenda are changes to the county’s unified development code and three zoning changes:
• Three acres at Buckner-Tarsney and Nebgen roads from agricultural to residential estates.
• Three acres on Lake Shore Drive south of Colbern Road from multiple-house district and agricultural to general business.
• 4.2 acres at U.S. 50 and Outer Belt Road (Route F) near Lone Jack from general business to light industrial. The applicant wants to make wood pallets at the site.
