The Jaguars started with a 62-24 decision over Park Hill’s junior varsity, downed Liberty 54-24, topped Chillicothe 59-24 and upended Marshall 41-31 before falling to Winnetonka 37-36 in the finals.

“Even though they came up short in the last match of the day, they showed a lot of pride in that they could of folded after being down in the dual early,” South coach Doug Black said. “... They never quit and that is what we are preaching, that if you keep battling good things will happen.”
