This is the Jackson County roadwork update for June 24 from the Missouri Department of Transportation. New work and changes are underlined:

I-35: Sign work will close a lane of northbound I-35 between Wyandotte St and Rout3e 24 from 9 am to 2 pm June 29-30.

I-70: Shoulder work will close a lane of eastbound I-70 between 18th and 27th from 9 am to 2 pm on June 28-30.

I-435: Guard Cable installation will close the left lane of north and southbound I-435 between 87th and Blue River from 7 pm to 6 am Monday June 27-Sun, Sept 11.

I-470: Resurfacing will close the ramp from Lakewood Blvd to westbound I-470 from 7 pm to 5 am June 27-28.

I-35: Bridge deck repairs will close the two left lanes of southbound I-35 and the two right lanes of northbound I-35 over Southwest Blvd and the on-ramp from Eaton (Cambridge Circle) to northbound I-35 from 7 p.m. on June 24-2 p.m. June 26.

I-70: Bridge construction will reduce westbound I-70 to one lane from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, June 27-Wednesday, June 29.

Route 50: Striping will close various lanes of east and westbound Route 50- between the Johnson County Line and Todd George from 6 am to 7 pm on June 27-30. 

Route 50: Guard cable installation will close the left lane of east and westbound Route 50 between Buckner Tarsney and Route F from 6 am to 8 pm June 23-25.

I-670: Bridge construction will close the exit ramps from westbound I-70, southbound I-70/71 and northbound Route 71 to westbound I-670 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wed-Fri, June 29-July 1. 

Route 7: Bridge deck replacement and rehabilitation will close Route 7 just north of Milton Thompson Road at the Big Rock Creek west of Lake Lotawana through August 15.

Route 7: Pavement repair will close a lane of Route 7 northbound between Route 40 and Wyatt Rd from 7 pm to 6 am June 15-July 15.

Route 150: Intersection reconstruction will close northbound Horridge Road at Route 150 beginning 9 a.m. Monday, June 27, through July 25. Local access will detour via Peterson and Hook roads.

I-70: Bridgework will close the on ramp from 18th Street to westbound I-70 from 5 a.m. June 7-August 1.

Route FF: Resurfacing will close a lane of eastbound Route FF between Route 7 and D from 7 am to 7:30 pm through July 9.

I-670: Bridge maintenance will close a lane of east and westbound I-670 between I-35 and Main St from 9:30 am to 3 pm May 13-Sept 9.

Sterling Avenue: Bridge work on I-70 above Sterling Avenue will restrict Sterling at times through August 31.

Route 40: Bridgework will close the ramp from westbound Route 40 to I-70 from May 7 through August 31.

I-670: Bridge removal and replacement will close the Broadway Bridge over I-670 from 9 a.m. through early September.

I-435: DDI construction will close a lane of east and westbound Front Street between Route 269 and I-435 from April 26-July 15.

I-670: Utility work will close a lane of eastbound I-670 between I-35 southbound and Central Street from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. through Sept 21, 2011.

I-435: Shoulder work will restrict traffic on northbound and southbound I-435 between Route 78 and Stadium Drive from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. westbound and to 6 p.m. eastbound through Nov. 1, 2011.

I-70: Bridge deck rehabilitation will close the left lane of westbound I-70 between Van Brunt Boulevard and Woodland Avenue through mid-spring. Subsequent phases of the work will open the left lane and close the center lane, then eventually the right lane and maintain two lanes of traffic through August 1.

I-70: New pavement construction will restrict traffic on eastbound and westbound I-70 between 31st Street and Sterling Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Nov. 1, 2011.

Route 24: Resurfacing will close a lane of Route 24 in either direction between Route 224 and Twyman Road through Sept. 1.

Route 78: Utility work will close a lane of Route 78 in either direction between Truman Road and Route 7 from 7 a.m .to 5 p.m. through July 5.

Route W: Bridgework will reduce traffic to one lane on east and westbound Route W in a head-to-head configuration between Troost Ave. and Blue River Road beginning at 8 a.m. through September.
