Music students from Bernard Campbell, Pleasant Lea and Summit Lakes middle schools were recently selected to represent their schools at the Eastern Jackson County Honor Choir.

Music students from Bernard Campbell, Pleasant Lea and Summit Lakes middle schools were recently selected to represent their schools at the Eastern Jackson County Honor Choir.

The concert will be at at 7 p.m. Feb. 19 at First Baptist Church in Independence. Students were selected based on their work ethic and ability to read music.

Bernard Campbell Middle School – Khensane Baloyi, Hannah Rogers, Katie Burgen, Ceclilia Perez, Martha Weilert, Lindsey Fellwock, Jenna Jefferson, Katie Hamrick, Erica Morey, Taylor Coram, Jared LaPaz, Sheldon White, Blake Swearngin, George Peng, Alex Bertz, Scott Jackson, Greg Martin, Dominick Sherwood, Zach Sherwood and Sam Ficcandenti.

Pleasant Lea Middle School – Isabella Hacker, Darein Johnson, Amber Leverette, Lindsey Miller, Sierra Walker, Kayla Burns, Melia McDaniel, Sidney McGinley, Jillian Moore, Mallory Murphy, Nik Andrews, Connor Foxhoven, Dustin Keyhill, Ben Velasco, Dashawn Young, Colin Aubuchon, Zach Bartlett, Lloyd Lee, Nick Lyman and Theo Propst.
