The Titans will face nationally ranked Webster Groves at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Edward Jones dome after defeating Staley 17-14 in the Class 5 quarterfinal.

The Falcons got on the board first with a 7-yard touchdown run by Morgan Steward just seconds into the second period.

The Titans answered with a 3-yard score by running back Darnay Session to tie the score at 7. Staley took back the lead with 7:72 left in the third quarter on a 15-yard run by Morgan to take a 14-7 lead.

The Titans cut the lead to four with a 43-yard field goal with 2:25 left in the fourth quarter.

Lee’s Summit West made the most of its final offensive possession scoring when quarterback Luke Knott connected with Brandon Smith for a 28-yard touchdown pass with 0:52.3 left in the game.

It was a defensive battle as West gained just 217 total yards. Staley compiled 265 with 242 yards rushing. West had just 68 yards rushing.
