It was a cloudy morning as I entered the parking lot at the Independence Events Center. I noticed as the gates were opened for me, that the turnout for this car and bike show was minimal as the forecast was for rain later that day. The first car spotted was a ‘69 Camero white with red stripes, a beautiful car. Next, ‘61 Jaguar in really great condition, owned by Sarah Miskew’s dad, Don. It’s style and classic look reminded me of a Bentley.
As I wandered through the rest of the cars it began to rain and so Diane and myself went inside the Events Center to watch the ice skating. There we ran into Sarah and her father and talked about the upcoming Fourth of July celebration at the Events Center, which sounds like it will be really interesting, come on out.
