After a one-year absence, Community Services League once again will host its fall gala to benefit families in need.

The Fall Into Hope Gala will take place from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hilton Garden Inn in Independence. The event aims to raise more than $100,000 to provide food, clothing, shelter, medical and employment needs throughout Eastern Jackson County.

Individual tickets are $100. VIP tickets, which include pre-party drinks and food, are $150. An auction also will take place for jewelry, photo sessions, vacations, Missouri Mavericks tickets and other items.

The new CSL president/CEO Jerry Jensen also will present the keynote address, talking about his vision for the area's oldest and largest social services provider. Contact CSL Special Events Manager Dena Morrison at morrisond@cslcares.org or 816-912-4485 for more information about the gala.
