To the editor:
Are we truly living in the America founded by our forefathers, proclaiming “land of the free, home of the brave?” What’s free anymore? Government is so dictatorial to/for what taxpayers can/can’t do! They document outlines for taxpayers to follow or else consequences.

Big corporations are living “fat on the hog” and choking the poor people who scrape the barrel to meet needs. The rich aren’t concerned of the little fellow’s problems. They sit in plush chairs thinking “big I” and back-patting themselves. Bonuses and raises are given to officials, thousands of dollars, and a “no-no” and “smile deals” to recipients.

Well, nothing is fair anymore. Courts are unjust (favoritism abounds), tickets for illegality and the cost is outrageous; price gouging is wrong. Hospitals, doctors, dentists, lawyers are outrageously expensive and expect pronto payment or collectors contacted. The rich are getting richer, and the poor are getting poorer. There’s a big difference in love and greed, and governments go for greed and our freedom goes out the window.

There is a God above who sees the unfairness via governments, and the Lamb’s Book of Life in the Bible will be minus the rich and room for the poor. For the Bible says, “every knee shall bow ... and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord” (Philippians 2:10-11). The Bible is right, and governments are wrong.
