Danny Shull has been named The Examiner’s 2008 Employee of the Year. Employees cast their votes among the newspaper’s 12 employees of the month in 2008.

Shull, 34, has worked at The Examiner for 15 years. As a pressman, Shull works between 40 and 45 hours each week running the press’ four-color, performing warehouse work, making plates as pre-press work and other maintenance duties. He also was the newspaper’s Employee of the Month in October 2008 and April 2006.

An Independence resident, Shull said his favorite aspect of working at The Examiner is the people.

“I have a lot of fun with them and get along really well,” Shull said.
