Mildred L. Everhart, 81, of Bates City, Missouri, passed away December 28, 2011 of natural causes after a short stay at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Mildred L. Everhart, 81, of Bates City, Missouri, passed away December 28, 2011 of natural causes after a short stay at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Grain Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Grain Valley, MO.

Mildred was born March 24, 1930 in Kansas City, MO to Wayne & Iva (Gunderson) Melton.

She retired from Certainteed Corporation in Kansas City, Kansas and finished out her life retired and living in Bates City, Missouri. She had a long life and enjoyed her relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and was always looking for His glorious return. Nothing could make her face light up like when she was talking about Jesus. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Dan Everhart; brother: Larry W. Melton; sister: Juanita Turner. Mildred is survived by her son: Steven D. Everhart; brother: Stan O. (Nancy) Melton; sister in law: Jeanette Melton; brother in law: Jerry Turner; and nieces and nephews.
