Who are the Occupy activists, and what is their purpose? Hundreds of activists from at least 10 states are expected to participate in a “People’s Caucus” near the Iowa Capitol to disrupt Republican candidate events and trash their campaign offices.

In the late 1930s the Hitler Youth performed identical disruption tactics. The would trash political candidates who opposed Hitler and broke up campaign speeches against Hitler. The Occupy activists broke up a recent Michelle Bachmann appearance with screaming and shouting.

The Occupy activists claim they are merely practicing civil disobedience. They claim their in-your-face tactics are justified because their message hasn’t gotten through in the past. Are these Hitler Youth tactics appropriate? Many Democrats and their supporters such as Michael Moore have visited Occupy activists’ encampments and expressed their approval for their movement.

When they shout down someone’s right to speak, they are really stopping your right to listen.
