Lee's Summit math students in ongoing competition.
Students from all three high schools in the Lee’s Summit School District are participating in the Missouri Mathematics League, a challenging state-wide program. Through this competition, students have the opportunity to test their math skills through a series of after-school tests.
Students take six Missouri Mathematics League tests annually, and each test includes six difficult and complex word problems. Through the program, students can test their knowledge while becoming engaged in mathematics.
At the December test, Logan Ewigman, of Lee’s Summit High School achieved a perfect score. Lee’s Summit West High School is currently among the top 10 schools based on cumulative scores from all three tests taken during first semester.
