  • Kenneth Milton Campbell, 69, of Buckner, Mo., passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital Blue Springs, Mo.  
    Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m., Monday, July 8, 2013, at the Meyers Funeral Chapel Blue Springs, Mo.  Visitation will be two hours prior to service.  Burial in Oakland Cemetery, Independence, Mo.     Kenneth Milton was born May 7, 1944, in Independence, Mo., the son of Kenneth E. and Ruby R. (Robinson) Campbell. He married Sharon (Farmer) Campbell on May 21, 1983, who survives of the home.  He graduated from Fort Osage High School in 1963, was a U.S. Army Veteran, and attended Oakland Methodist Church. He was a farmer and had lived and farmed his family farm that has been in his family for generations. He enjoyed silhouette shooting, hunting, fishing, flying airplanes, and spending time with family and friends. He also worked in construction each year in Alaska.
    He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth E. Campbell; brother, Joseph D. Campbell; and sister, Lisa Denise Campbell.
    In addition to his wife Sharron he is survived by his son, Joseph F. Campbell of Buckner, Mo.; daughters, Kenna D. Campbell of Eldon, Mo., Carolynn Campbell-Burkett and husband Matthew Burkett of Holy Cross, Alaska; mother, Ruby R. Campbell of Buckner, MO; brother, Tim Campbell and wife Penny of Oak Grove, MO; sister, Linda Ronsley and husband Kenneth of Buckner, MO; grandchildren, Brody C Campbell-Wegener, Ollie M.B. Campbell, September A. R. Campbell-Burkett, and Leelou W. A. Burkett.
