1. When did you first become involved with Nature’s Pantry and what brought you into this line of work?

My business partners and I started Nature’s Pantry in February 1995. All of us worked together at another store which was beginning to have some financial issues, so with God leading the way and the support of our families we moved in faith and 15 years later here we are.

2. What do you feel like Nature’s Pantry has to offer that other grocery stores do not?

There are several things we feel set us apart from other natural foods stores.  We have always striven to have the best service, selection and price in town, and we believe we do.  Another thing is the educational lectures that we have for our community. These events are free and give people the opportunity to make informed health decisions for themselves.

3. Why do you feel that eating organic is important?

People are wanting to live longer, healthier lives and many studies have shown that diets that include fresh organic fruits and vegetables have helped people regain their health. We have also heard several testimonials from our customers about what changing their diet has done for them.

4. You try to use locally grown products in your store. What kinds of things are local and why is this a good thing for the community?

We are able to get local several products like Shatto milk, Yummy’s and Harmony Farms just to name a few.  We have always tried to support local when we can for a couple reasons. One is to support local business to help keep the dollars in our community, plus the more local businesses that produce natural and organic products the better educated people will become on the benefits of those products.

5. What is the most important thing about Nature’s Pantry you would like the community to know?

We feel very blessed to be in this community and hope that we can partner with them on their journey to health.
