A ‘United’ States
Doyle “Bud” Pugh

Ours is a land of the free for which many have died.
So the voice of the masses may never be denied.

It was political choice which was designed to make our nation great,
Though too often radical extremist tend to prod the sores of hate.

When unbiased views are obstructed by the radical, either left or right,
It’s hard to envision truth in the proper light.

I opt to tune out the rantings of the absurd,
As then wisdom of logic may easily be heard.

Why must we flounder as a nation divided by radicalism extremes?
When we may choose to flourish as one united with realistic dreams.
