  • To the editor:
I am a board member of the Public Safety Sales Tax Commission and the founder of the Community Services League monthly food drive here in Blue Springs. I have been an active part of this community on many levels throughout the years and have a deep pride for our beautiful city.
I want to personally endorse Dale Carter’s re-election to the City Council in District 1. Dale has served not only District 1 well but the entire city of Blue Springs. There are so many changes you can physically see here as you travel Missouri 7, Adams Dairy Parkway and Woods Chapel Road. Dale was a tireless volunteer and advocate for the public safety sales tax campaign, which ultimately has brought our police department years above our surrounding neighbors. Dale is present an available at any time to meet with the residents of Blue Springs to speak about issues that are current such as a possible community center and additional public transit.
Blue Springs is my home, and I am very passionate about my love for this community. Over the years I have appeared before the council, I have meet with Dale and have found an open-door policy to any concern. Let’s face it: Sometimes getting involved and making a difference is a very thankless job, especially political positions. Dale Carter has represented District 1 like a true champion, and we are so lucky to have people like him who want to continue to make Blue Springs a better place to live.
