To the editor:
Americans pride themselves on their innovation and creativity. We now have a phone that we can connect to people all over the world, while downloading Internet porn, and taking photos drinking binges! These devices carry more information than a computer that filled an entire building back in 1950! We have the ability to sit in front of our computers and talk face to face with people in other countries. We have satellites that will fly us through our neighborhoods - in real time.


Yet we are still driving the same kind of car our great- great grandparents drove in 1908! Is this progress? Nah...it’s the power of lobbying. Now look where GM, et al are. When we will innovate our transportation?
