Russell W. “Bud” Schile, 81, of Liberty, Missouri ,passed away November 17, 2010.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 22, 2010 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Independence. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, November 21, 2010 at DW Newcomer’s Sons Noland Road Chapel where the Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m.

In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Holy Rosary Catholic School, Clinton, Missouri.

Bud was born April 13, 1929 in Aberdeen, South Dakota to Joseph and Anna (Kraft) Schile. He served his country proudly during the Korean War and is a veteran of the US Marine Corp. He was employed by Allis Chalmers and retired in 1993 after 35 years of continuous service. Bud loved motorcycles, fishing and playing bingo.  He was passionate about his faith and an advocate for Catholic Education. He loved going to Mass as well as praying the Rosary. Bud was active in The Legion of Mary, Knights of Columbus and the VFW. He is preceded into death by his parents, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

Bud leaves behind a Son; Shawn Facklam of Lake Waukomis, Missouri. Niece; Lillian Egleston and her husband Jerry of Independence, Missouri. 2 Grandchildren: Caleb Facklam and Katie Facklam and 4 generations of Nieces and Nephews.
