  • The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol need the public’s help in identifying a man whose remains were found in Vernon County.
    Authorities found the remains of a white man between 26 years old and 36 years old who died as early as 1985 and as recently as 1997.
    The remains were found in 2000 in southeast Nevada, Mo.
    A computer-generated image was produced by the Forensic Anthropology and Computer Enhancement Services Laboratory at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La.
