  • The Lee’s Summit Symphony's 10th year will end with the Celebration at the Kauffman Center special event, sponsored by Saint Luke’s East Hospital.
The symphony will present “Celebration at the Kauffman Center” at 8 p.m. June 15 at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City.
The “Celebration at the Kauffman Center” will provide concertgoers with the opportunity to hear the Lee’s Summit Symphony in the new auditorium.
Reserved-seat tickets are available for $15, $30 and $50. The $15 tickets are available at the two Lee’s Summit Hy-Vee stores. The $15, $30 and $50 tickets are also being sold through the Kauffman box office, which can be accessed by visiting www.lssymphony.org or by calling 816-994-7222. Please note that tickets for the concert will only be sold at Hy-Vee through June 8.
In addition, the Lee’s Summit Symphony is offering transportation from Lee’s Summit to the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts that evening. Transportation vouchers will be available for $10 per person at both Hy-Vee locations. This special transportation offer provides concert attendees the opportunity to enjoy the trip to Kansas City with fellow fans and avoid parking challenges.
Symphony fans purchasing the transportation voucher are asked to meet at Lee’s Summit High School at 6 p.m. June 15 with the buses leaving at 6:30 p.m. Bus riders will also receive a celebratory glass of champagne en route to the Kauffman. Deadline to purchase the transportation vouchers at Hy-Vee is May 3.
