  • Five people were hurt in a three-vehicle wreck Saturday on Interstate 70 in Oak Grove.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says it happened a little before noon on westbound I-70. A 2012 Camaro driven by Michael J. Hulgen, 50, of Cleves, Ohio, was in the left lane. A 2010 Honda Insight driven by Andrew A. Muelleman, 19, of Independence, overtook the Camaro and struck it from behind. Then a 1999 Saturn driven by Sara A. Bonner, 24, of Columbia, Mo., struck the Honda.
Muelleman sustained minor injuries, and a passenger, Taylor M. Black, 19, of Eureka, Mo., had moderate injuries. Both were taken to Centerpoint Medical Center. The driver and two passengers in the Camaro had minor injuries. All three vehicles had extensive damage and were towed away.
