Jackson County legislators are continuing to move their weekly meetings around the county.

On Monday, they meet – three times, in a sense – at the Courtyard Community Center at John Knox Village, 510 N.W. Peace Parkway, Lee’s Summit.

The first meeting is at 1 p.m., a public hearing on proposed changes to the County Charter.

At 2 p.m., they’ll hold a question-and-answer period for citizens with any comments or concerns. At 2:30 p.m., they hold their regular weekly meeting.

Legislators normally alternate between meeting at the Courthouse Annex just off the Square in Independence and the Courthouse in downtown Kansas City, but this year they have sprinkled in others as well, including recent meetings in Blue Springs and the Fairmount neighborhood in Independence.

Other upcoming meetings:

June 14, Baptiste Education Center, 5401 E. 103rd St., Kansas City.

June 28, Sibley Orchards, 3717 Buckner-Tarsney Road, Sibley.

July 12, Raytown YMCA Community Center, 10301 E. Missouri 350, Raytown.

Aug. 2, Plaza Library, 4801 Main St., Kansas City.  Sept. 20, Swope Health Services, 3801 Blue Parkway, Kansas City.
