Beaches at Blue Springs and Longview lakes are now open until Labor Day weekend.
The beaches are open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends and 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday through Aug. 14.
From Aug. 17 to Sept. 4 (Labor Day weekend), they’re open from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends.
Lonview beach is closed on Aug. 23.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children(15 and under) and seniors.
Season passes and family passes are available,
The lakes feature sand volleyball courts, restrooms and shower facilities and an acre of protected designated swimming areas, according to a release by the county.
