I walked into Petco and saw some beautiful cats for adoption. This one pretty gray and white cat was meowing loudly and looking at me. I stopped and put my hand up to its cage. The volunteer with the rescue group told me that this cat was saying that she wanted to go home with me. I smiled and told them that I would love to have a cat, but we have a dog that kills squirrels, and as much as I would love to take this sweet baby home, she would not be safe in our house.
Cats are so cool and there are so many adult cats out there looking for homes! Animals Best Friends has some wonderful cats that need forever homes. I’d like to tell you about a few of them.
Moeshe is a 7-year-old female. Her coat is a pretty gray with white speckles. She has the most beautiful light green eyes and a very sweet personality. She loves the attention the volunteers give her. She likes to be held and even allows volunteers to hold her like a baby. Moeshe is a very lovable girl who would make a fabulous addition to a loving family.
Terry is a 7-year-old handsome black and white tuxedo cat. He is quite a character and will do everything he can to get your attention. He is a sweet boy who will paw and even nip you to let you know he needs some attention. Terry loves to play and will likely entertain his new family. He would be a great addition to a loving family.
Max is a 4-year-old domestic short hair male with a beautiful solid black coat. He is a sun bather and loves to lie next to the window. He likes to play and have fun. The rest of the time Max is quiet and laid back. Max was introduced to a small dog, which he rubbed up against to let her know he was friendly. However, Max needs a home without young children.
All three of these cats get along well with other cats or would do well as the only cat in a home. They are good cats with sweet dispositions that need a forever home to call their own. If you are looking for a cat for your family and think one of these kids might be a good fit, please go to our website at www.animalsbestfriends.org and complete an application. ABF does home visits and two week trials and will always take the animal back if the owner cannot keep the animal for some reason.
