INDEPENDENCE – 9/8/1937 – 1/20/2022

Emmett H Ruks of Independence, passed away peacefully on January 20th. He was born in Cicero, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Jeanette Ruks. He is survived by his wife of 49yrs, Janis. His daughters Erin Ruks-Rapp (Chris) and Dyann Ruks. His 3 wonderful grandsons that he was so proud of, Sean Opalka Jr, Brady Ruks-Bond, and Johnny Lee Ruks. A special Thank You to the “Rusty Zipper Club”. He will miss you guys so much. We pray our father has finally found the peace he was always searching for. We love and miss you Dad.
