Linda L. Eckard, Smithville, MO (formerly of Independence, MO) passed away January 21, 2022 at North Kansas City hospital from Covid-19.

Linda Waitzmann was born February 29, 1960 in Kansas City, MO to Barbara L. (Malicoat) and Franklin E. Waitzmann. She graduated from Truman High School in 1978 and was a supervisor for the US Postal Service, where she retired. Linda enjoyed boating, swimming, stained-glass and cross stitching.

Linda is survived by her mother, Barbara Waitzmann, Independence, MO; brother, Frank (Cheri) Waitzmann, Kearney, MO; brother, Fred (Victoria) Waitzmann, Warrensburg, MO; sister Laura L. Cowin, Independence, MO and her nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held in the Spring of 2022. Cremation Arrangements through Reflections Memorial Services, Kansas City, MO.
