This is an in-person exhibit highlighting the Czech and Slovak immigrants to the United States who have contributed to science, politics, sports and the arts as well as their descendants. This exhibit runs through May 31. • Guts & Glory: The War Train that Shaped a Nation: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Midwest Genealogy Center, 3440 S. Lee’s Summit Road, Independence, 816-252-7228. This in-person exhibit marks the 100th anniversary of the Czech and Slovak legions and their trek via railway across Siberia during World War I. This exhibit will remain through May 31. • Jim Cosgrove, Mr. Stinky Feet: 10 to 11 a.m., Blue Ridge Branch. Kansas City’s own award-winning rocker, Jim “Mr. Stinky Feet” Cosgrove provides a concert of original songs and old favorites.
