Teresa Lee Majors, 71, passed away March 14, 2022 with her family by her side. Teresa (Terri) was born November 26, 1950 in Wichita, Kansas. She graduated from Blue Springs High School and received her college degree from Graceland University in Iowa. Terri married John Majors on June 17, 1972. Terri is survived by her husband John; two children, Eric Majors and Leanna and Steve Spicer; grandchildren, Liam and Mila; brother, Randall {Randy} Cavin and wife Gayla; sister, Leslie Wilson and husband Philip; sister-in-law, Stephanie Cavin along with many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and life-long friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents, David and Elaine Cavin; brother, Stephen Cavin and sister-in-law Teresa Cavin.

The most important things to Terri were her family and the active role she played at her church, particularly in youth work. Terri was an ordained minister in the Community of Christ church. Terri owned and operated a successful business for the last 18 years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Meyers Funeral Chapel in Blue Springs.

Memories of Teresa and words of comfort for her family may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel.com. Contributions in memory of Terri may be made to Rainbow Center of Communicative Disorders in Blue Springs, MO. Rainbow Center is a legacy of Terri’s mother Elaine.

A celebration of life service will be held at Colbern Road Community of Christ Church on Saturday, April 9th at 4:00PM.
