All Missourians ages 5 and older are eligible to receive COVID vaccines without charge. If you have already had at least one vaccine, remember to bring your vaccine card. Jackson County Health Department upcoming vaccination clinics Jackson County Health Department upcoming vaccination clinics include: June 21, 22, 24, 27, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and June 23, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Jackson County Health Department, 313 S. Liberty, Independence. These clinics offer COVID vaccinations for people ages 5 and up. NOTE: the vaccination clinic will be closed on June 20 in celebration of Juneteenth. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are strongly recommended, as it is possible that the clinics may run out of vaccine for walk-in clients. Note: All children, ages 5 to 18, will need a parent or guardian present to sign a consent form for vaccination. If you have health insurance, please bring your insurance card.
