Mathew Adam Herman, 34, of Independence, MO passed away June 17, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 AM, Friday, July 1, 2022 at New Hope Baptist Church, 18000 E. Lexington Road, Independence, MO 64058. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Class at New Hope Baptist Church.

His father, Michael Herman preceded him in death in 2000. Survivors include his mother, Geri Sue Nickell, brother James Herman, sister Stephanie Kitchen (Grant), nephew Nathan Kitchen, his children Mason Maynard, Meelah, Sulley and Mathew and his longtime girlfriend Nikky Guarina.
