Search for new IPD chief narrowed to four finalists

The search for the next Independence Chief of Police is down to four finalists, City Manager Zach Walker confirmed Friday, including current interim chief Adam Dustman. Walker said he was not yet able to release the names of the other three finalists, as not all have informed their current agency they will be coming to Independence for final interviews and to meet with the community this month.
