Brian Todd Nelson left us due to a tragic accident on June 24, 2022. Born November 6, 1963 in Emmett, Idaho to Aleta M (Davis) and Willard Nelson. He attended Chrisman High School graduating in 1982 and the University of Kansas graduating in 1986. Brian was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Jesse Davis, Gerald Fitch, and Bill Nelson and his grandmother Ethel (Shippy) Nelson. He is survived by his parents Willard and Aleta M (Davis) Nelson, sister Amy Nelson Lamont (G. Sean), grandmother Retha (Rogers) (Davis) Fitch, and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial will be held Friday, July 22, 2022, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Family will greet guest between the hours of 1-2 p.m. for the visitation and the memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions to be made to National Alliance on Mental Illness at www.NAMI. org.
