A beloved Independence holiday tradition returns Sunday after a two-year hiatus, as hundreds of fourth graders will be among the performers for the Mayor’s Christmas Concert at the Community of Christ Auditorium. The concert, which starts at 1 p.m., started in 1985 under Mayor Barbara Potts and benefi ts the Community Services League.
