 Albert Winkler Sandring, 91, of Independence, Mo., passed away Monday, January 16, 2023. A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, January 20 at Second Baptist Church, 300 East Kansas Street, Liberty, Mo. A visitation luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. with the service following at 1 p.m. Private burial will be in Machpelah Cemetery, Lexington, Mo. Memorial contributions may be given to Second Baptist Church, Liberty, 2bcliberty.org.
 Albert Sandring was born April 24, 1931, in Lexington, Mo. to Arthur Walter Sandring and Virginia Stone McCall. On November 4, 1956, he married Margaret (Peggy) Ann Peters. Albert graduated from Wentworth Military Academy and attended Kansas State University where he graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering. After serving as a Captain in the US Air Force he earned his Professional Engineer license and attended Missouri University, graduating with his Master of Business Administration. His engineering career which spanned 40 years included design work resulting in patents, manufacturing processing and teaching in his field. His lifelong hobbies included photography, providing computer support to others and helping others by using his engineering skills.
 Survivors include his daughters, Rebecca Margaret Sandring and her husband, Dennis R. Boatright, and Sara Jane Sandring; three grandchildren, Victoria Sandring, Nell Sandring Wesemann and Jonah Sandring Wesemann. He is also survived by his niece Bettina Samuelson Esser and several cousins. Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Sandring, parents and his sister, Mary Helen Sandring Samuelson.
