2024-25 Examiner Boys Basketball Player of the Year: Grain Valley’s Herbert uses strong work ethic to bag another honor

Grain Valley junior Eli Herbert (2) broke the school record with 607 points this season and was the second-leading scorer in the metro area. The 6-foot-4 guard earned Class 6 All-State honors and was named the Class 6 District 7 Player of the Year and a DiRenna Award finalist this season.
