Lindsay Evans, granddaughter of the late Leila Cohoon who owned Leila’s Hair Museum in Independence, shares the story behind a piece of hair artwork that is bound for a museum in New York. Evans has been contacting museums in recent weeks to find new homes for pieces of the Hair Museum collection, now that the museum has closed.
