Georgia Rose Towers was born in Glendale, CA on Sept 20th, 1936 to Ace and Mildred Dodge. She was an Evangelist in the Community of Christ East 39th St congregation and previously served as Pastor and counselor to the District President in her church in San Diego, CA. She volunteered at Centerpoint Hospital for over 10 years as the office coordinator of Volunteers and Chaplains. She passed on December 3, 2021 after having family in attendance throughout the day. A photo tribute and memorial service will be conducted at the E. 39th St. Community of Christ church, 15006 E 39th St. S., Independence, MO on Friday, December 10, 2021, starting at 1 PM – memorial at 2 PM.
