BLUE SPRINGS – Jacquelyn Ann Hobble, 65, a resident of Blue Springs, MO, formerly of Wichita, KS passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Oak Grove Nursing and Rehab Inc in Oak Grove, MO. She was born September 16, 1956 to Joseph and Virginia (Burnette) Hunter in Independence, MO.
Jacquelyn spent several years working as an accountant for Koch Engineering in Wichita, KS. She attended Hillside Christian Church where she volunteered in the nursery for over 30 years. The children she watched in the nursery became family to her and helped them whenever she was able to. Jacquelyn volunteered at a food truck to feed the hungry and also sheltered dogs for the MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue. She was an avid WSU and KU basketball fan and cherished spending time with her family and friends.
Survived by her daughter, Amy Spurlock and husband Joseph of Blue Springs, MO; sisters, Diane Castle and husband Joe of Kingston, TN, Susan Gerhardt and husband Wayne of Richmond, TX; former husband and friend, Kevin Hobble of Topeka, KS.
Jacquelyn will be cremated per her wishes. At this time there will be no formal services.
