Bob Frederick Beck, formerly of Sibley, Mo., went to be with the Lord on July 19 at the age of 89. He passed peacefully at his current residence in Frontenac, Kan. that he shared with his devoted wife of 66 years, Martha “Sue” Beck.
Bob is survived by five children: Robert E. Beck, Donald C. Beck, Sue E. Terry, Connie L. Allison, and Randy L. Beck along with their respective spouses. Bob enjoyed spending time surrounded by family which includes 10 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.
Bob was born on January 7, 1933, to Roy Beck and Lottie Moore. He was the third child of four: Roy Beck Jr, Melba Jeffries, and Charles Beck. Bob was welcomed to the afterlife by Roy Beck Jr., and Melba. Charles is now the only surviving sibling.
Bob graduated high school and spent time defending America’s freedom in the United States Army. He held many occupations during his life but spent the latter part of his life working on the Atherton levy. Bob was also a member of the Atherton Restoration Branch of Jesus Christ. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
