age. Sharon was born onDecember 3, 1945, in JeffersonCity, Mo., thedaughter of Roy Edwardand Irma Maxine (Crosby)Miles. She is a graduate ofWilliam Chrisman HighSchool and earned herbachelor’s degree in socialwork from Park College.Sharon had a very artistic mind and would draw,decorate cakes, and write. Her faith in the Lord wasgreat and she had a heart of a servant and a great loveof people. Sharon would go out of her way to spreadkindness and love to all she came in contact with andwould use that as her ministry. She volunteered atchurch, counseling those going through hard times andaddictions. Sharon suffered a great loss when heryoung daughter, Carri Sue, passed away. Wanting tohelp others going through similar grief, Sharon wroteof Carri Sue and the experience of her loss in a bookthat was published. Sharon loved music and singing,enjoyed down time watching television and movies,and loved to study the bible. She loved and cared forpeople so much; it made a true impact in hercommunity and to her family. Sharon will be deeplymissed. A memorial visitation and service will be heldon Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Speaks SuburbanChapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055.Family will greet guests between the hours of 9-10a.m., with service to follow at 10 a.m. Sharon will belaid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery in Independence.Sharon is survived by her children, Gregory D. (Gayle)Hayward; Denton Roy Hayward; David B.
