Gladys Ruth McGhee, formerly of 141 S. Cedar, Independence, Mo., passed from this life on October 18, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Elmo McGhee and son, James Lee McGhee.

She is survived by her sons, Michael E. McGhee (wife Patricia), Steven W. McGhee (wife Melissa) and daughter-in-law, Dorothy McGhee. 7 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren. Services will be held Sunday, October 23 at the Carson Speaks Chapel, 1510 W. Lexington, Independence, Mo. Visitation at 1 p.m. and Service at 2 p.m.
