Melanie Lee Hunsaker Allison, 49, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022, in Kansas City, Kan. following a brief illness. She is survived by her husband, Terry Allison of Arkansas, her children, Tyler Dankenbring of Concordia, Mo., Taylor Harvey (Curtis) of Saint Albens, W.V. and Trey Hunt (Christina) of Independence, Mo. She also leaves her father, Jim Hunsaker (Cyndi), her mother, Cindy Hunt, a brother, Chris Hunsaker (Brandy) and two grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. A visitation will be held at 1 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to begin promptly at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at SSafe Harbor Baptist Church, 909 W 23rd St, Independence, MO (six blocks east of Noland Rd). In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
