Thelma Marie (formerly Burton) Lease, 92, of Kansas City, passed away peacefully on December 18th at Lawson Manor. Family services will be held at a later date at the Sni-Mills Holiness Cemetery in Grain Valley, where she will be laid to rest.
 Thelma was born April 22, 1930 in Missouri to Loren and Sadie Hutchison. She attended Maryville High School. Thelma married William Burton and they had four children. She later married Delmas Lease, with whom she had another child. Thelma was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and children. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed crochet. Thelma was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to music on the radio.
 She was preceded in death by her father, Loren Hutchison; her mother, Sadie O’Banion; and her brothers, Ervin Hutchison, and Jimmy Hutchison.
 Thelma is survived by her children, Linda Marie Young (Larry dec.), Arthur Wayne Burton (Carol), Loren Edward “Ed” Burton (Patricia), William Wade Burton, Arlin Eugene Burton (Kimberly); her nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
