Grand Marshall Marty Meyers, Pat Meyer and Jim Wallace cross Main Street in downtown Blue Springs on Friday morning for the 46th annual World's Short Shortest and Smallest St. Patrick's Day Parade. The parade was measured by former City Engineer Oliver DeGrate at 66 feet, from the former Lowe Drug Store to The Keg across the street, and plaques on each side of road mark beginning and ending points. Meyers carried the traditional ice cream float, as organizers joke that there cannot be a parade without a float. [Mike Genet/The Examiner]
