Santa Claus visits with children Tuesday after he arrived in downtown Blue Springs following the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Santa arrived this year on a Central Jackson County Fire Protection District truck, after Blue Springs Mayor Carson Ross and guest Keith Hannaman flipped the switch to light the tree in front of City Hall along Main Street.
