Earl D. Bishop

To the editor:
I want to express my thanks to the EMT crews of this city. Shortly before Christmas my wife collapsed while preparing dinner. The emergency workers were at my door within minutes of my 911 call. I don’t know how long they worked on her, but certainly long enough to stabilize her and transport her to the ER. They stayed at the ER until it was obvious that nothing more could be done. My wife died, but it wasn’t for lack of effort by the EMT crew or the ER staff. We all, and I in particular, owe these people a huge vote of appreciation for their service to our community.
