A Independence woman wanted for abducting her son was found and arrested in Branson, Mo., today.

Independence police were notified that Rebecka Olah, 44, had been located in Branson with her 8-year-old son Noah Olah. Rebecka was arrested and is being held on a felony warrant for child abduction.

Rebecka took custody of Noah on or about July 12, 2013, for parent visitation and failed to return the boy to his father, who had permanent court-ordered custody. The Independence Police Department and the United States Marshals Service then issued warrants for her arrest.

After Rebecka’s arrest, Noah was taken into police custody for safe keeping until he could be reunited with his father. Police said Noah did not appear to have any medical issues.
